Over a decade structuring capital, governance, and cross-border execution for families and founders.
Sergio A. Paier is Founder and Managing Partner of Coigne Capital, where he works with founders, families, and international businesses to build resilient cross-border ownership and capital structures across Canada, the United States, and Latin America.
His practice focuses on moments when strategy, cash flow, and decision-making span multiple jurisdictions — where unclear control, outdated legal instruments, and fragmented execution quietly erode value. Sergio designs the governance, capital, and operating architecture that lets organizations scale without losing discipline.
Before founding Coigne Capital, Sergio held senior roles in wealth and financial security advisory at Sun Life, led market-entry and digital transformation mandates as Managing Partner of Synexum Labs, and served as a Digital Transformation Sales Executive at TELUS Business. He is a director of Coigne Capital, Inc. (Laval, Quebec).

Design First, Execute With Discipline
Permanence over urgency
Structures are built to outlast market cycles, leadership transitions, and jurisdictional shifts.
Clarity as control
Governance works when decision rights, capital flows, and accountability are explicit and enforceable.
Partnership at scale
No single advisor can cover every jurisdiction. We coordinate the right specialists under one integrated mandate.
